Safety Officer

Location: Upington

Reports to: Group SHEQ Manager

Purpose of Position

- To conduct workplace inspections, audit of internal safety requirements and coordinates safety related services. - Ensure customer safety requirements are met.

Qualifications

Grade 12
Samtrac
Samtrac (mining)
COMSOC 1/2
Incident Investigation
Risk Assessor (HIRA)
Diploma in Safety Management (Advantage)

Experience

5 years’ Ssafety related work experience in a Cconstruction/ Mining environment
2 years’ experience in customer/supplier interaction
3 years’ experience in a Service/industrial environment
