General Manager: Operational Support
Purpose of Position
- To ensure the profitability, incl. achieving the budgeted Revenue, Opex, EBITDA and ROIC for the relevant divisions/areas within the portfolio.
- To effectively and efficiently lead and direct the:
o Technical Support Centre (TSC).
o Pretoria Service & Repair Centre.
o Operational excellence in the regions about technical quality – machines and people.
- To assist and support regional operations to deliver effectively on internal and external customer requirements to meet the business needs, now and in the future.
- To guide and support the decentralised Repairs & Aftersales execution in the regions.
- Accountable for OEM technical liaison and communication to the business.
Qualifications
- Grade 12/N3.
- A relevant post-matric qualification will be advantageous
Experience
- 10 years’ managerial experience in an operational environment, with direct budget management and control.
- 5 years’ operational experience in equipment rental and sales - preferably work-at-height and material handling equipment.
- OEM technical liaison experience.
- A proven track record of revenue and cost management against a set budget.
